Just because the excess solar generated by your home is tiny, with Paua to the People managing just your excess Solar, you could receive the same wholesale market rates that the big generators earn.
As part of a trial being run by Kainga Ora, Paua to the People have recently developed the capability to sell the excess solar energy that panels export to the grid without affecting or being involved in the supply of electricity to the home. Seperating out your generation enables you to choose the retailer with the best offer that you want to supply your home without worrying about the often inadequate solar buyback rates.
We are looking for interest from homes owners in the Wellington region that might be interested in joining a trial where Paua to the People manage their electricity for them.
